Spring Meeting of the Province 7 Youth Network
April 9-11 the Province 7 Youth Network met at St. Crispin's Camp and Conference Center in the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma.
Fall Meeting of the Province 7 Youth Network
For the fall meeting, the Province VII Youth Board met in Little Rock, Arkansas. The meeting was very productive and ranged in the topics of communication, finances, and event collaboration. New things that the board members will be carrying out are intentional prayer on a weekly basis, the sending of youth and adult representatives to events in other dioceses, and a new way of communicating the events of the board to non-board members. Also while in Little Rock, the Province VII Youth Board visited the Heifer Village of Heifer International. Heifer Village uses interactive exhibits and engages educational programming to answer the question, "How can you help end hunger?" The visitors of Heifer Village are introduced to the innovative work providing livestock and training to families worldwide, and focuses on sustainable, practical and cost-efficective solutions to hunger and poverty. This tour was very moving and gave us inspiration to help our neighbors within the province and within the world.
